Abstract

The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia has chances to be reconstituted as third power in Russia in the upcoming elections. Party is nationalist-oriented and can benefit from creeping nationalistic moods. Though the LDPR party has been part of high Russian politics for twenty years, its leaders openly supported and support neo-nazi activists. The party emphasizes anti-western rhetoric and Zhirinovsky is really concerned about the territories that he calls “South”.
